KUR ZEME DARA
We are a community association founded in 2023 to help turn our shared Vārme Development Strategy from a vision into reality, one project at a time. We are the people who live here, building for the community we share, not waiting for change to come from elsewhere, but making it ourselves.
The Team
Meet the co-founders: Artūrs Palsāns and Signe Erdmane. As Chair and Vice-Chair of the elected Vārme Citizens' Council, they contributed to the creation of the Vārme Development Strategy 2030 and help set its priorities in practice. Since founding Kur Zeme Dara, they've led community projects funded through LEADER, the Ignitis Renewables Community Support Programme and other grants, to further enable Vārme's sustainable development.
